Tanya Sue Pollard's Biography
"Your work is to discover your world and then with all your heart give yourself to it." ~ Buddha

During 1991 at her home in the small town of Vulcan, Michigan you could find two year old Tanya Sue singing and dancing along with the movie, Sister Act. That was only the start of her love for music. Twelve years of dance lessons, eight years of piano, and four years of voice intensified her dream of entertaining an audience. An above average student in high school, she also played three different sports, but her passion was performing in choir events, musicals, and plays.

Tanya Sue started singing at school events at seven years old, singing in church at twelve, and developed her great listening skills by singing duets for 6 years.  She has sung for many weddings, concerts, benefits, and other events. Her name is known around the community because of her love for performing and entertaining audiences. In 2008 she and her duet partner made it to the semi-finals in “Can You Duet” on CMT from the producers of American Idol.

Recently, she was introduced to Mark Oliverius, a songwriter and producer for Lorrie Morgan. She went to Nashville, TN and cut a record with Oliverius co-writing and cutting her first four songs of progress. She says, “Dreams can be reached through hard work, experiences, dedication and believing in yourself.”

Tanya Sue is currently a college student majoring in communications and minoring in theater.
