The lyrics in my song “Breaking Out” explain exactly how I feel right now. I often find myself laying in bed when lyrics will come to me and I’ll have to get out of bed and write them down. That is how this song started. I love my small town, but it is time that I face the real world. I know life is full of ups and downs and I need to face that - not hide from it. I have always been a person who worried about what people said about me, and I still do to an extent, but like my lyrics “I am done with doubt.” If I never try to achieve my dreams then I’ll never know if I could have reached them. “My life is only beginning and I’m breaking out!”
